Name Change, Take Two

Okay I know you guys are thinking what is going on with the new name change I will tell you about it when I could. Well I've always wanted to be a teacher but I realize that becoming a teacher is like connecting the dots. But, I also have another reason to change my name. I have told people at my church what my plans are for my future classroom. One of the things is to have experience with the child as an artist and make sure that their work is unique and is theirs. When I was a little child, I would really have problems learning to draw pictures and I would think of the belief that every child is an artist in his or her right. Now that's why I want to rename my blog The Dots of Teaching. More fun things to come soon.

Spring Is Around The Corner

Well, spring is around the corner. This is coming from a girl who now has allergies to deal with. I have a reason why I did not blog that much lately, I am going back to school. Right now, I am going to work on my blog posts and even link up with some linky parties. I am also going to work on products...motivation time anyone?!?. I am excited and I am going to talk more in my blog tomorrow.

Happy Currently Everyone!!!!

I am slowly getting out of this funk that I am in right now. I am hopefully getting into school by March 11th and also having to figure out gifts for my boyfriend and attending most of my friends' events. Well, I am excited to announce some great things happening in my life. But first, the linky party that I love to link up with which is Farley's Currently!

 

I have a confession to make. I am an ID addict. I mean it, out of everything on TV, I love that channel more than anything. Most of my DVR recordings are from that channel. I love the channel Deadly Women and many other shows. Although, it is not the only thing that I watch.

For all the past Currentlys that I did, I admit that i am a sports fan. March Madness is coming up soon and filling out the brackets are wonderful to do(It is my first time possibly). Plus, March is the month of celebrations such as Dr. Seuss Day, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day, and no more winter!!...I mean First Day of Spring. Plus, this month I am starting back school(pray for me). So I am a giddy girl during this month.

I am a DIY girl who also follows DIY blogs and also is a Pinterest addict. Last month, I semi-made a purse last month for a woman's conference coming up this month. I made a mission to make crafts and work on projects around the house, even a gift for my boyfriend.

During my January Currently, I wrote that I love Winter and I don't want it to end. Well, after this

I now wanted spring to get here. I am excited for vacations coming up soon. I have been working out and being on a mini diet to be healthy and fit.

A vacation for one...Well, I have another personal blog that I have created and right now, I wanted to start blogging on it this month. Plus, I sounded like a broken record with making products and opening a TPT store. I need a little motivation for that and also for me to work out and lose weight..

Taking a cue of rhyming from my favorite childhood author, Dr. Seuss...My answers are there for all to see, please comment on what you think the question might be!!!


I may have to break a rule of blogging and post twice in one day to tell about what is going on soon with the blogging and my life.

It's...February :) Currently and All...

I am super excited for this month. February is the shortest time of the month and also the busiest time of the month. Between Valentine's Day and Black History Month, along with Super Bowl Sunday, this month would be the busiest and the fastest of the few.

I am linking up with Farley for her monthly Currently, that I love to link up with of course. So here it is and I will give full detail...

Well, my family and my boyfriend of a month are football fanatics as am I. I am excited for the Super Bowl game because I root for the Denver Broncos and I also love the halftime shows. I also love NFL Network getting ready for the big game tomorrow.

I love February. It is my second favorite month, right next to my birthday month of course. I love the various days that are celebrated such as Valentine's Day and President's Day. I also love Black History Month because it gives kids a chance to learn about people such as Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, etc. I also love the fact that tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday.

I really need to look back and reread my blog post on my blogging resolutions because right now it looks like I am falling back on my blogging. Everything is hectic at the Hall's residence with me going back to school and also caring of my grandma alongside working at my church's food pantry. My sleeping patterns are getting out of whack with me going to sleep more during the days than at nights.

Well, last Christmas, I received a gift from my Sunday School teacher with a gift certificate for her to carry me to get a manicure and also shopping. I may have to take her up on that offer. What I forgot to mention in the Currently is to also lose some weight. I felt that it is time to say goodbye to the weight that I have accumulated from eating too much during the holidays.

I wanted a spa day where I can be pampered and feel relaxed after all of the stress of getting back into school. I also wanted to go on vacation anywhere around the world like I put on my bucket list. A few Currentlys ago, I wished for snow, now I wanted the snow to end. Tuesday was snowing at my house and a few of my friends were stuck in Birmingham due to the weather. I am now having a countdown for when spring arrives even if it is far off.

 

Here are the results of my two truths and a fib.
The two truths are:
1. I have been to Orlando, FL before with my high school marching band one time. I really enjoyed the humidity and of course the rides alongside seeing Shamu while at Seaworld. Lesson : never sit near or at the splash zone. You will be splashed for sure.
2. I am addicted of polka dots. I am thinking that my future classroom would be decorated with them, however, just not too much.
The fib is: #2 on my Currently
I have never been to an Alabama game, I just watched them at home. My wishlist for 2014 and 2015 would be to attend a game and cheer on the Crimson Tide no matter if they win or lose.

A New Life...

Well, my birthday was yesterday!!! I turned the big 2-4 and is making new decisions by the minute. I gave my blog a makeover via The Cutest Blog On the Block. I got one of their free background and also one of their free banners and customize the banner to make it reflect my personality. I have a few blogs that I am working on and I will be quite busy. I also have school coming up soon and may or may not blog, but I can figure out something.

Now, on to the nitty gritty.
Well, I am hosting my first linky party and I am figuring out what topic I should circle this linky party around. What do you guys think my first linky party should be about?

What Are My Blogging Resolutions?

Hello, I am back. I have a birthday tomorrow and I am excited to turn 24 years old. Anyway, in 2013, I recently started back blogging from 2012. Well, I have not done a good job at all blogging, so I have linked up with Diane from Fifth In the Middle for her blogging resolution linky party.

                                                                     Description

• I suddenly realized that I need to focus more on my blogs and write more posts instead of doing it sporadically.
• I need to have my creativity and personality instilled in the blogs that I have. I felt like some of the blogs were either about me bragging or boring you guys to sleep. 
• I forgot to mention this in the template but I wanted to also throw out that I wanted to get more followers which brings me to the next point that I need to join more linky parties and also host linky parties and giveaways. 
• I made a choice to create freebies and put them on my blogs sporadically. I agree with a few posts that I saw got me thinking. I need to find a balance with posting products and also talking about my life. 
• I need to understand the tips and tricks of the blogging world and understand it better. 

Now on to other social media that I would work on:

• TPT: I need to work on products and open up my shop soon this year.
• Teacher's Notebook: Same as TPT.
• Facebook: I need to start focusing on my pages and find ways to advertise them on my blogs. I also need to spruce the pages up.
• Twitter: Make pages for my blogs.
• Pinterest: Pin more and add more stuff from my blogs on there. Also, I need to make the boards look creative.
• Instagram: Post more pictures on there. 
• Generally separate my personal pages from my work pages.
• Make separate emails for my blogging pages. 

I hope I can work on these resolutions and I am grateful for the followers and the people who followed me already.

Last Post of 2013 and New Goals for 2014

I cannot believe that 2013 is coming to an end and suddenly I am in bed with a fever and a headache. Not fun at all. However, I am excited to link up with Jessica from First Grade Nest for her 2014 Resolution Linky Party.

 

Without further ado, here are my resolutions...

 I would like to hopefully become a substitute teacher by this year. I had subbed before and I can be more prepared for this. I would also like to go back to school to hopefully resumed my Bachelor's degree. I already have my Associate's degree.

 Well, I can confess that I have been a bad blogger but now I am making a goal to be a better blogger and devote most of my time to my blogs. I am wanting to host linky parties and possibly giveaways soon. I would also like to devote most of my time to my TPT store. Hopefully, I will make products this year.

 I would love to hopefully find the man of my dreams one day. But, I know that is all up to God to decide my future husband.

 I have another confession. I have a bucket list that I wanted to accomplish by the time I am 40 years old. I want to start working on that this year since I am 24 and I have a lot to accomplish before then.

I would love to go on more mission trips. I have been to a mission trip to New Orleans. I hope that I will have the time and the health to go on another one, this time out of the country.

Well, That was my New Year's goals. I hope that everyone have a Happy New Year and see you in 2014.
