Friday, July 3, 2015
It has been long since I linked up with Doodle Bugs Teaching For her Five For Friday.

Well, we are done with the Summer Reading Program and the kiddos got their prize and the book they received to read as well. Our theme was about Superheroes.

I did VBS last week and it was great. I love seeing the kids learn more about JJesus and also do the music. Anybody did Journey Off The Map...

Plus, the kids thought of a new theme: Journey Off The Mustaches.
Because of VBS, I overdid it and I got sick as a result so I took a rest and slept for at least nine hours for one night...NINE HOURS!!!
It was cool and rain this week and I was planning something for bible study so I took advantage of it.

My church did Game Night and we played Apples to Apples, yes even with the words that meant dirty to some with their heads in the gutter.

Well, I am off to have a great Fourth of July even if I am battling sickness (not fun). Hope everyone have a great Fourth of July weekend!!

Well, I miss linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for their Five For Friday and I am excited to share some good news that would be very much what I have been since I last linked up here.

First off, I am now helping out with my public library for storytime and we read and do some activities for them. My first week was about winter and boy do they have a great time. We even made snow globes and read Winter Rabbit.

It was snowing at my house and boy did we get a huge snowstorm with snow around estimated at 10 inches. Most of my friends got a foot of snow. Here are some pictures that I enjoy.

I got me a Chromebook and that would be for blogging and other stuff. I am pumped about using this that I am using it right now.

I am almost finished with one of my classes and I am ready to start applying my life to the classroom.

Finally....(drumroll please). I have been hit with wedding fever lately. My best friend got married and other friends are planning on getting married soon.

Well, I am now joining the list of people who would be planning their wedding starting now. My boyfriend and I talked about it and we are not rushing to get married anytime soon. But, we realized that our future is looking bright. However. I was worried about him because he was also in the now too.
Have a great weekend and enjoy your day...snow or not!!!

Five For Friday- Thanksgiving Week

Friday, November 28, 2014
Hello, hope everyone have a happy Thanksgiving. Well, in honor of Thanksgiving, I am linking up with Kacey of Doodle Bugs Teaching for their weekly Five For Friday!!!

http://doodlebugsteaching.blogspot.com/

Well, field experience continued today. I love doing field experience and hopefully it can lead to a job( volunteer or paid) soon.

Here is a pic of field experience...

Speaking of field experience, I decided that I am going to dress casual and of course, I wore jeans and tennis shoes...

Well, for Thanksgiving, I helped cooked meals for the people with my church family. We baked cookies of all kinds and even used cake mix for some of the cookies.

These are red velvet cookies and chocolate with coffee cookies. Yum!!!

We had an awesome Thanksgiving except that I was battling a toothache from eating said cookies above. I love eating and I ate two full plates.

Question: What is everyone's favorite Thanksgiving tradtion?
Finally, we are going to put up the Christmas tree and I am excited that this would be the first Christmas in the new place.

Here are some pics from last Christmas!!!

Five For Friday 11-21-2014

Friday, November 21, 2014
Well, it is time to link up with Kacey for her weekly Five For Friday...
http://doodlebugsteaching.blogspot.com/

This week was my field experience and I was wearing nice professional clothes...even though that the teachers at the school that I work at was wearing jeans and t-shirts. I wore jeans on a few occasions. However, I did have to wear warm, no thanks to the stupid cold snap that overtook us.

During field experience, the kids were playing with shaving cream and also that they were tracing their letters and even drew an apple on their tables...

So, right now I am working on the Gobble Cards that were going to be used for the kids. More details on another post coming soon.
This is a cheat sheet that I am using for my Gobble Cards since there are some kids that are not even four.

One of the ladies at my church gave me a nativity scene that is perfect just in time for Christmas. It is already up on my little table right now.

Oh, and by the way this girl got a bit involved in college football way too much. Next week is the Iron Bowl and I am going to remain calm even though I got Auburn friends.
