I decided to create a blog about my life and my journey to become a teacher:) One of the main things that I keep hearing is the election and here is the deal. I am not that person who is too big into elections unless it affects the Cullman County as a whole. However, I do agree with the right to vote because there were many people that have fought for each of our rights to vote . Then, I agree that no one should be influenced or scared by negative ads( which annoys me) or threats from politicians(which also annoys me). Focus on what your thoughts and beliefs are. I am currently watching ESPN and the Weather Channel since nothing good is on right now unless it is on Saturdays and Sundays.
Off the election trail, I am currently in field experience and I enjoyed every moment of it. I have to teach at least two lessons to the children and I am one of those who get stage fright. I am working on my homework that I love every minute of because it would give me insight for what is to come in this whole process to become a teacher. I am a teacher's aide(volunteer) for kindergarten and also a substitute teacher. I was asked this week to sub for kindergarten and I learned every trick and also got some wonderful insight from teachers who have done this before.
Football Saturdays was awesome to watch yesterday. The Alabama-LSU football game was the scariest thing to watch. By the way, if any of you are like me, then you must thought time stopped when Alabama was struggling against LSU but they pulled out a win with this one. I cannot wait until next Saturday with Texas A&M because that would be an epic game to watch. I am proud to also be a Hanceville alum because the football team would be going to the playoffs and would also play at home. It is weird that I am cheering for the Bulldogs and I used to be in the stands cheering for them. Because of school work, I am cheering from my house, which is closer to the school. I am currently cheering for the New York Giants because they have proven to me that they are one of the best in the NFL.
Here is a tidbit, I am now sleeping like a baby because of my sleep schedule is back to normal and for once, I don't have a tendency to go to sleep on the job no more. Finally, it is November which meant that we need to give each day we would be thankful for until Thanksgiving. I know I am thankful for my friends, my family, anf my work to be a teacher. I am also thankful that God has blessed me with someone to share bible verses with and to ask how am I doing:)
I am going to get back to homework or take a nap. Have fun, stay safe and always remember that God loves you and remember to pray for the people that were affected by Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. Have a happy November
Happy Sunday!!!!!
