This is my first time linking up with Joanne at Head Over Heels For Teaching for her Student Spark Motivation linky party.
I have done a bunch of field experience and one thing that most of them have in common. Most of the students are motivated thanks to one person that everyone knows...Dr. Jean.
She came up with some great songs to motivate students to learn more about what is going on in their classrooms. She came up with songs that are devoted to what children are learning and fun songs for the children to "get their willies out".
During field experience this week, the teacher would put on Dr. Jean for them to learn about their days of the week, months of the year, and also their weather.
I remember that during my time as a teacher's aide, I would often hear Dr. Jean a lot to the point where I remember the song without having to search for the lyrics or the movements.
Here is one of the videos that can be used when teaching the children about weather that can get them motivated.
Hope you link up with her tomorrow and also that you will be motivated with Dr.Jean too.

The Dots of Teaching
I teach 4th grade so I don't really use Dr. Jean in my classroom, but Dr. Jean was a HUGE motivator for all my personal children! They couldn't get enough of her music! I think kids just get excited when they hear any music, definitely should be incorporated as much as possible in classrooms! :) Thanks for sharing and linking up!
