New Change!!!

Wednesday, October 30, 2013
Well, I am going to make this short because of church. But, I have been a bad blogger because I have been preparing for the blogiversary that would happen next Monday and would be a week long event for me. I have remodel the blog to make it feel more homely. On a brighter note, I am working on my other blog and is excited for what's about to come in the next year of blogging. FYI, any questions about me that you would like to know write them in my comments and check out my blog remodeling. Still have to put a few more quirks in it. However, I love the fact that I get to share what I have learned from being in education classes with all of you and I love hearing about the ideas from your blogs.
Here is my brand new blog button right now, but it may still need a few quirks. The reason my banner have glasses is because since first grade, I have to wear glasses. One day, my mother carried me to the doctor and got my eyes checked out and got glasses ever since. I have reading glasses so I will not squint so hard at the computer screen and also not get myself headaches.

Thanks, God Bless, and Roll Tide Roll!!!,

Big News!!!

Tuesday, October 15, 2013
I have big news coming this way. I have created a blog about my life becoming a teacher. Well, I am about to hit the one year anniversary of me blogging and I decided that one blog is not enough. Since the blog is about me becoming a teacher, I decided to make one that is about what I have experienced as a teacher and also what tips and tricks that I have learned throughout the time that I was somehow involved in the education system.

I am going to give a little background of what I am talking about. When I was at Wallace State Community College, I was part of the Child Development Program and one of the thing that I did was basically did observations at the primary school level(PreK-3rd grade). I even did a few months observing and even did some hands on activities at the schools from grading papers to even teaching them a lesson. I also did substitute teaching for a second grade teacher one time when she went home. Also, I did at least 1-2 years at Sacred Heart School in Cullman,AL. I was the teacher's aide(never got paid though but it doesn't matter to me) for kindergarten through second grade. I even did substituting for kindergarten through third grade at one point whenever they needed me. I used to do Wednesday Night's Children Church for 2-early 4's until I have to leave for health reasons.

So, that was where my background was and I also did field experiences while at college and right now health and family issues are what is telling me to slow down. However, I am very creative with what I want to do for my children and I am very gracious for the chance to tell others what I have witnessed and what I want to do in my classrooms.  I will now do two blogs which for me is enough unless I could do some for another group.

Prayers

Sunday, October 13, 2013
Well, I am going to make this short and sweet. My grandma was rushed to the hospital while I was at church and right now I am scared of what the outcome is going to be. Pray for my grandma right now. I need those prayers.

Thanks
Jasmine

My New Routine...

Friday, October 11, 2013
I cannot believe that it is Friday. Why?! Because the weekend is near and I am finally going into a routine that I am used to...

Detail by Detail Schedule:

 Sundays:
I go to church in Hanceville early in the morning to attend their Sunday School and also to  attend worship service. I am a die-hard Christian who is continuing to strive for God. I am tired when I get home, but it is worth it and I also probably cook dinner on Sundays too.(I can make a mean breaded chicken).

Mondays:
I get up and start to study for Praxis and also for the AECTP test. The AECTP is a certification test in Alabama. It is required for me to get a teaching certification. I am a bit lazy on Mondays so most of the time I would watch NFL games. But, this fall my dream come true because not only am I a NFL fan(depends on what team is playing), Dancing with The Stars is back on and so is The Voice. However, thank goodness for the iPad.

Tuesdays:
Same schedule but thank goodness there is no NFL game. Thank goodness for Investigation Discovery time.

Wednesdays:
I am getting ready for church on Wednesday night. I am excited to celebrate the good Lord. I am also excited for The Food Network with my favorite show Restaurant Stakeout, love the passion owners have for their restaurants.

Thursdays:
It is time for me to pin and also study yet again. I love to pin me some games.

Fridays:
It is free time for me and I am excited to learn more from other teachers.

Saturdays:
College Football Saturdays are my favorite because my team(Alabama Crimson Tide) plays and I also tend to root for other teams that does not play my team or get that much hype. I get ready to start all over again the next day.

*I am making an About Me section so everyone would get to know more about me and who I am*

Also, I am trying to get back to normal with the blogging, and that will happen soon. I am still new to blogging and November 4, 2012 will be one year that I entered the blogging world. Also, I think I finally got a blog design down . Since, I like polka dots which is splattered all over my room, My blog design has polka dots in it(Hint the classroom will be just like this when I have one someday).

Finally...

Always live by this motto and you should too...
Taken from iPad wallpaper and my facebook.

Hope I get to blog tomorrow if I am not busy watching football games galore.

October Time Is...

Saturday, October 5, 2013
I am happy for two three reasons. The first reason is that Alabama football is 5-0 of course, RTR. The second reason is that I finally am content with what I am going to do and is focusing on taking the next step. I am excited to see what God has in store and also what to do when life gets tough. The third reason is that I am about to study for the Praxis and also for the certification tests. I am also on my LinkedIn profile soon making a resume. A bit of advice for whoever wants to be a teacher in the future or for anyone who is already in the teaching field is that the number one goal is to motivate the children. They would definitely remember who their teacher is and also what they remember from each teacher. I remember all of my teachers from elementary school and I learned lessons from each and every one of them.
