A Little Social Network That Is Taking Off!!

I am taking a break from teaching posts to tell you about an up-and-coming social network that is trending worldwide, at least. Tsu is a social network where users would receive royalties for what they shared and also for what they would do with content.

Here is the lowdown on this new social network:

• Tsu is where you will own the content that you posted. 
• There are a lot of teacher bloggers that are now on Tsu that you want to follow or friended.
• There are no ads that are clogging up your news feed such as Facebook will be( no disrespect towards Facebook). 

 However, there is a catch, you need to have a code to join Tsu. It is also invite-only. I can lend you guys my link to join which is:

Liebster Award Nomination

Well, I got nominated by Katie of Living the First Grade Dream for a...wait for it...wait for it...Liebster Award!!! The Liebster Award is an award for new bloggers that have potential and content and also have less than 200 followers.

Thanks Katie for your nomination, I feel blessed that I am in a great group of blogging buddies. As part of being nominated, I will answer eleven questions about this nomination and also nominate eleven bloggers that have less than 200 followers.

1. Why and How Long Did You Start Blogging?
I started blogging in November 2012, but I took a big break from it after only one post. However, something miraculous brought me back into the blogging world in August 2013 and I have not stopped blogging since. I blogged because I love reading other bloggers and what their personalities are since I jumped back into the blogging game. Also, with my previous experiences of being a teacher's aide and also being a substitute teacher along with being a Children's Church helper is what made this blog started to work.

2. What one word sums up the heart of your blog and why?
The one word that sums up my blog would have to be compassion. I am very compassionate to what I love to do and that is to be a teacher and have my own classroom one day. One of the things that is more excitable and also that would be fitting in with the word would have to be that when I wanted to become a teacher, I wanted to find what words would describe me when I do become one, and of course I picked this word as one of my favorite words to describe me. Also, being a Christian made me felt compassionate towards others and that includes children.

3. Is there something you learned late in your blog journey you wished you knew before?

I learned many tips and tricks about blogging when I entered into it soon, but the biggest thing that I learned late was that my blog needs to match my personality. I am an out-going 24 year old and I am blessed that I am taking the next steps of becoming a teacher so I made my blog suitable for other readers to see what is my personality.

4.What is your favorite past time other than blogging? 

My favorite past time other than blogging would have to be singing and also participating in church activities. I did not tell anyone this, but I used to be in the choir at my high school for one year and also in college for one year. I am currently in my church choir at church. I also love to participate in church activities that I enjoy and it is all for God. I am currently thinking about going on a Peru mission trip in 2015. 

5.How many hours per week do you dedicate to your blog?

I did not spend many hours like I should blogging and so I made a pact that I would spend at least three hours a week blogging. I need to also focus more on the blogging aspect so I could attract my readers more. 

6. What category of blog posts do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy talking about classroom organization and also about reading since I am more certified in that area. I love talking about the reading sense of school so that the children would learn more. I also enjoy linky parties that capture the readers' attention and also what they could attract when they would share what they know with other teacher bloggers. 

7.Where does your blog inspiration come from?

My blogging inspiration came from being a teacher's aide and also a substitute teacher that would warm me inside. The children and being in a school experience are very inspirational for me to want one day when I am in my own room. I love doing what I am doing, not for the money, but for the children and being able to change their lives soon. 

8.  Which post that you've written are you most proud of?

I remember writing about the reading tips and tricks in the classroom (here). I remember writing about what other teachers gave me advice on about reading and what I need to be more aware of. Also, I love that we are doing this during Dr. Seuss week and it is related to reading which is one of my favorite subjects in school.

9.Is there any post you've been planning to do but have been postponing it for awhile now?

Well, I have a lot of ideas, but I always wanted to do a teacher advice linky party because I wanted to share what advice that my teacher gave me when I was completing field experience. I really think that the best advice is used to our good advantage. 

10. What is your favorite aspect of blogging?

There is actually an answer to that because my favorite aspect is being able to share my ideas for the classroom with my blogging buddies. I have never attended a blogger meet-up( that would change soon) and I did not get to go to Vegas this past summer, but I love making new friends, even though it is only online and through blogging and other shared interests like teaching.

11. Which recipe, project, or idea on my blog would you be most likely to try yourself?

I would love to try Katie's Beginning Letter Sound Activity with the children because it is a good way for them to see what each beginning sound sounds like in a word. Also, I would love to try a crockpot recipe but it is supposed to be one thing.

Five For Friday!!!!

Today, I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for their Five for Friday.

 I have been busy this week so here goes nothing.

 I am in the process of redesigning my own blog to reflect my own personality. I must say however, it is more of a work and fun.

I am also glad that I can do linky parties again because my computer is back, slow, but it is back.

My phone also had a redone image by organizing all of the apps into each category.

I am working on blogs and also doing my math homework for school. I am ready to multitask soon.

Have anyone seen the movie God's Not Dead...well, I finally did and I really enjoyed it. I will blogged about it on another blog. I will give details soon.

My First Five For Friday!!

Hey everybody,

I am a bit nervous because I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for their weekly Five For Friday. I am finally on my two week vacation and that is it...two weeks because I start back classes on August 5th and also start field experiences in September.

 First off, my laptop is back and is better than ever, almost.

 I have to have a new charger because my old one went on a kaput tour. But, I finally have my own laptop for me to get.

 I ended up organizing my life and my laptop dektop because it looks like someone fiddled in it.

 It looks organized from my perspective, but I am still uneasy about it.

 I finally walk over 1,800 steps and also make sure that it is almost around Hanceville(even though it is about to be towards the post office)

 Well, I went to Walmart and Dollar General and well, you guess what happened. This girl who is going to be in classrooms across the county needs a lot of school supplies.

Next Thursday, I am going to take a mini-vacation to...SIX FLAGS!!!! I am nervous because I am terrified of heights, but I am excited about riding the rides.

Final Note: I also did my Pinterest boards for my new account and well, I admit, I am ready to be married soon.

Spring Is Around The Corner

Well, spring is around the corner. This is coming from a girl who now has allergies to deal with. I have a reason why I did not blog that much lately, I am going back to school. Right now, I am going to work on my blog posts and even link up with some linky parties. I am also going to work on products...motivation time anyone?!?. I am excited and I am going to talk more in my blog tomorrow.

Happy Currently Everyone!!!!

I am slowly getting out of this funk that I am in right now. I am hopefully getting into school by March 11th and also having to figure out gifts for my boyfriend and attending most of my friends' events. Well, I am excited to announce some great things happening in my life. But first, the linky party that I love to link up with which is Farley's Currently!

 

I have a confession to make. I am an ID addict. I mean it, out of everything on TV, I love that channel more than anything. Most of my DVR recordings are from that channel. I love the channel Deadly Women and many other shows. Although, it is not the only thing that I watch.

For all the past Currentlys that I did, I admit that i am a sports fan. March Madness is coming up soon and filling out the brackets are wonderful to do(It is my first time possibly). Plus, March is the month of celebrations such as Dr. Seuss Day, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day, and no more winter!!...I mean First Day of Spring. Plus, this month I am starting back school(pray for me). So I am a giddy girl during this month.

I am a DIY girl who also follows DIY blogs and also is a Pinterest addict. Last month, I semi-made a purse last month for a woman's conference coming up this month. I made a mission to make crafts and work on projects around the house, even a gift for my boyfriend.

During my January Currently, I wrote that I love Winter and I don't want it to end. Well, after this

I now wanted spring to get here. I am excited for vacations coming up soon. I have been working out and being on a mini diet to be healthy and fit.

A vacation for one...Well, I have another personal blog that I have created and right now, I wanted to start blogging on it this month. Plus, I sounded like a broken record with making products and opening a TPT store. I need a little motivation for that and also for me to work out and lose weight..

Taking a cue of rhyming from my favorite childhood author, Dr. Seuss...My answers are there for all to see, please comment on what you think the question might be!!!


I may have to break a rule of blogging and post twice in one day to tell about what is going on soon with the blogging and my life.

Story of my life

So, I have been off the blogging world for awhile for good reasons. The first reason is that I have finally got my phone. I am going to take good pics of what I am doing and let's just said that everything is going to be posted regularly. Also, I am making a new change in my blogging ways by making sure that my personal and teaching blogs are separate so if you are following me on this blog, then follow me on the other blog, which I will be telling you the name soon. Finally, did anyone like my new blog design that embodies my personality. Also, there will be a linky party coming soon.

All You Need Is Love...

Well, I am a sucker of love. I am in love with everything. While stalking checking out blogs on my bloglovin feed, I saw that there is a Are You Lucky in Love? linky party hosted by Molly of Lucky To Be In First.

Here are the things that I love...

There are too many people in my life that i love that cannot fit in this slide. I love my family, my friends, and my boyfriend of almost two months.

 

I have two dogs that I love. My little Pomeranian named Roxie and my little dog niece name Alerria or Baby as my family nicknamed her. 

Well, I started blogging in November 2012 and during that time, I made some wonderful friends(even though we are not in the same room). I celebrated a bunch of holidays and my birthday on my blog. I even took a huge step forward last year and participated in a few linky parties. I love that my blogs reflected my personality.

I am a Christian woman and my heart belongs to Jesus Christ. I thank Him for forgiving me of my sins and also for healing me from last year with my illnesses.

I am almost tech savvy. I have a laptop, a nook, and an iPad in my room. Soon, I am getting me a cell phone and get back into the technology world.

I have a few teams that I love. But, my favorite team is Alabama Crimson Tide. It stinks that they lost their last two games, but I still love these boys until the day I died. 

Those are the things that I love in no particular order.
