Liebster Blog Award Nomination, Part Two

Wednesday, November 5, 2014
Remember when I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Katie of Living the First Grade Dream. Now I am nominated again, this time by Miss Alexandria from Classroom Action With Ms. Jackson. So, I am proudly going to accept this nomination. Here are the questions that I am answering. The Liebster Award is for blogs who have less than 200 followers, but have amazing content and potential to gain new followers and interest readers.

1.  Why and how long ago did you start blogging?

It would be two years ago today that i started blogging. I love to read and stalk teacher blogs so from experience as a substitute teacher and a student teacher along with a teacher's aide, I decided to write my own teacher blog through years of name changes.
2. What one word sums up the heart of your blog and why?

For me, that would be personality. The reason for that is when you create a blog, you need to let people in to see you for who you are and what you are when you shut down the computer.
3.  Is there something you learned late in your blogging journey you wished you knew before?

How to break out of my shyness, especially when it comes to blogging because the bloggers are like my friends even if we cannot see each other yet.
4.   What is your favorite past time other than blogging?

For me, that would be going to church and getting involved. I am a Godly woman and I love to serve the Lord in many ways.
5.  How many hours per week do you dedicate to your blog?

From the last time that I was asked about this would now be 5-6 hours per week.
6.  What category of blog posts do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy the posts about reading because I am ARI certified so I am in a big area of reading and right now, I love to have that be the main focus.
7.  Where does your blog inspiration come from?

For me, I am inspired by the students that I encountered the last few years. I did not tell anyone this but the last day of the school year for me, I went back to get something that I forgot and one of the girls started to hug me and was crying. I left the classroom with tears in my eyes and also was crying.
8.  Which post that you've written are you most proud of?

For me, that would be any Currently because they are what is going on in my life and I love to link up with Farley and let everyone in my life each month.
9.   Is there any post you have been planning to do, but have postponing it for a while now?

My experience as a student teacher and also do a series of what to expect when it comes to teaching.
10.  What is your favorite aspect of blogging?

Making new friends and also being able to see other teacher bloggers and what they are from their perspective.
11.  Which recipe, project, or idea on my blog would you be most likely to try yourself?

I would like to try your Thanksgiving Math Task Cards because they are great to use for the upcoming holiday and also they could help children who are struggling with math or needed to polish their math skills.

Now onto the hard part and that is to nominate 11 blogs and their bloggers thaat have less than 200 followers:
