Time to Party!!!! (Day One)

Well, today is the day for a celebration... To everyone that means that it is my blogiversary today!!! Yay!!!

This little blog has turned two years old and I am one proud momma. Yes, I said momma until I actually have children. Back to the story.

I never thought that I would continue this process, but the little engine in my mind keeps telling me that blogging is hard work. But, there are some that gave me some great advice and great feedback on my blog posts that I am proud of. So that is why this month is devoted to you the folks at home who are following me and also giving me credit to the blogging.

Now onto the celebration, usually many teacher bloggers would offer a product on their blogs. With everything going on with my grandma and of course school starting back for me, I did not have the chance to make a product yet. So bear with me. However, I have a linky party made just for you for this week. I am excited that it is based on high school yearbook of Who's Who and I am excited that this is happening in my life.

So, I have been given the best blogging advice that I did and this one is the one that changed my life.

It was that my blog and posts should match my personality. My personality is more of who I am and what I am at home and at school which is quirky, scatterbrained, and crazy. That is why I named my blog The Dots of Teaching, it is to give everyone a step in the right direction of what is going on with me becoming a teacher in an unorganized world.

Sunday Scoop 11-2-14

So, I am feeling warm after freezing this morning no thanks to the freeze warning. However, I am linking up with Teaching Trio for their Sunday Scoop.

3 things I have to do:
1. I need to prepare for my blogiversary on Tuesday. I am super excited that this sweet little blog turned two years old on Tuesday. Prepare to be amazed.
2. The life of a student teacher is that I have to still work on assignments that would help me become a teacher. It is not a great thing, but it is rewarding.
3. I need to prepare myself for field experiences and figure out what needed to work and what does not needed to work.

2 things I hope to do:
1. I need to decorate my blogs and get them ready for the birthday on Tuesday. This little momma needs to prepare herself for the blogging world.
2. VOTE!!! I am not a political person at all. I honestly focus on the education aspect. But, I need to go vote and also figure out which candidates are there for education.

1 thing I'm Happy to Do:
I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 10 months now. We are about to approach 1 year in two months. I have never felt this giggly before. I am also waiting to see what the future holds for us.

Sunday (Monday) Scoop 10-27-2014

Well, I am writing a set of posts that would really turn my life around. The first Sunday Scoop that is on a Monday is here and I am excited. Oh, and by the way I am linking up with The Teaching Trio for their weekly Sunday Scoop

The three things I have to do is:

• I love to make lesson plans, said this teacher. I am figuring out what lesson plans that I need to make for my class and also for me to go back to when i would have my own classroom one day. 
• Halloween is coming up and I need to find some accessories for Halloween for a costume party coming up soon. I am going as Miss Frizzle( minus the red hair and lizard) and then I am going as Mary Poppins for FallFest where I live. 
• I am happy to announce the Hobby Lobby where I live is finally open after a devastating wind storm made it closed for awhile. I am focusing on making something with the use of chevron and also the use of decorations needed. 

The two things I hope to do is:

• I am always wanting to exercise more and getting fit each and every day. I would walk towards the library and I am currently drinking water and less drinks to tone my body.
• I have made a huge decision that would change my life for the rest of my life. I am going to be a summer missionary in Peru by going with my church this summer. I have been praying and making these decisions that would change my life. 

The one thing that I am happy to do is:

• I am having some big days coming up: my blogiversary and my birthday soon. I am making some radical decisions and also making a bucket list that would change my life. Post coming soon for the blog.

Anyway back to the story, my blogiversary is going to be a bit huge and I am making it month long since I love to have big celebrations. I will tell you about this when the time has come, but I am putting the finishing touches on the schedule and I am also asking some teacher bloggers to write some guest posts and I also have a few surprises up my sleeve for you guys.

I will let you guys go and I am blessed that I get to celebrate this with everyone and I also am a bit on the DIY side by creating stuff and making a blog design more reflective of who I am inside.

October Currently- First one of the Fall!!!

So, I have been MIA lately, because I am working on homework and also I have limited access to the Internet at my house right now. I am on a computer at my public library and I am linking up with Farley for her Currently today.

Listening:
I am watching Miss America in 2004 on Youtube. I always wanted to be Miss America when I was young.

Loving:
Recently, I have to walk to the public library and when I did, I would walk to and from the library. The result is the new and almost slim version of me.

Thinking:
Field experience is coming up and I am figuring out what to wear and how to impress my cooperating teachers.

Wanting:
I am a bit of a complainer on too hot weather and too cold weather. I like it just right. Fall is here, but it still feels like Summer, so I hope the rain would cool off the weather and it will be in the 50s.

Needing:
I need some pretty cool costume ideas and also tips on field experience and what to expect. One of the many few choices that I would like to go as is Ilsa from Frozen or Wonder Woman. What do you think?

Trick or Treat:
I am thinking of doing this with my own classroom one day, but have them pretend( without costumes) that they are ghosts and skeletons, but give them rules before they would do that.

By the way, my blogging anniversary is coming up and I am working on something that would make it the best celebration ever on my blog. Check back for more details.

Blogiversary: Day 2!!

Well, I am excited to continue with this blog. But, I also have a secret confession. Every time, I wanted to create another blog and see what other people are talking about. The second blog is based on ideas and lessons also like this one, but I will not make them the same things. I will also do shameless plugs from Pinterest.

 

Now, I know you keep hearing about the glasses. Well, I have wore glasses a long time and sometimes, I wear them a few days and other times I don't. However, I enjoy my pair of glasses.  Also, to leave you on a lovely note...Today, my feet was cold so I decided to wear something that resembles one of my favorite types of candy:

My Blog Turns 1 Years Old!!!!!

So, I am excited that I finally made a milestone. A year ago today, I created a blog that was designed to follow me around my journey of becoming a teacher in elementary schools. My first post was quite confusing to some even myself, but I knew in my heart that creating and writing blog posts would help me share with future teachers the road path to becoming one.

So to shorten this up...MY BLOG TURNED ONE TODAY!!!!!!

I am so excited to write more future posts and also to create some products to share with other teachers that I learned from field experiences, volunteering at a private school, etc. Oh, and I am making this my blogiversary week. So that means, a lot of surprises may be coming your way.

Free Day Tomorrow!!!!

Well, since Alabama is having a bye week, I will be keeping myself busy, busy, busy. First things first, my blog will turn one years old in 3 days. I am thinking of ways to celebrate it and I will write a new post this weekend. Second, I am happy because my Alma mater won the region championship. Go Bulldogs!!!!. Finally, it is November which means that I have two months left until my birthday month in January. I am excited and is a bit nervous of turning the big 2-4. I will be working on a few projects for my celebration of my blog and I am excited and cannot wait to show it to you. Oh, and I am also working on the other pages.
